Casual (zero hour) Contract

9.70 per hour

Full Driving Licence and own transport essential as role involves travelling across Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion

 

Applicants must have a background in Advocacy a good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the 2009 amendment to the act to include Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)

Volunteering

 

Could you find the time to be a volunteer to improve the quality of life for people who live in Bridgend?

 

If you:

 

        can spare 1-2 hours a week (or more)

        have good listening and communication skills

        have an empathy with the needs of older people

        have a sense of commitment

        have a understanding of mental health or learning disabilities

 

we would like to hear from you

 

Full training and support is given.

 

 

All volunteers will be selected subject to interview, satisfactory references and a Criminal Records Bureau check.

 

We have a number of different volunteering roles

 

Wellbeing Drop-In, Over 50s Community Cafs, Friends of Coity Clinic (hospital inpatient), Sessional volunteers.
